Summary/Abstract: For years, the Archives of Vojvodina has devoted great efforts into the development of the Laboratory for the Conservation and Restoration of Archive Materials. Adaptation of the existing facilities and procurement of up-todate equipment has created conditions for continuous conservation-restoration activities to be done on the damaged archive materials in order to prevent its further deterioration. The archive materials held at the Archives of Vojvodina are heterogenous and are on paper support. Depending on the type and degree of paper damage, various methods of conservation and restoration are applied. Thispaper deals with the most frequent causes of the paper support damage and the application of methods of conservation and restoration of archive materials in the funds and collections of the Archives of Vojvodina.
