Summary/Abstract: Studies in IT state: intranet appeared in major organizations in the world in 1994. The launch by Microsoft in 1996 of free web servers supported the widespread proliferation of collaborative technologies. Intranet is an essential part of collaborative technologies. Nowadays, the implementation of these technologies has come to change their intra and extra organizational communication, bringing along with an increase in productivity and a shift in culture. More and more organizations have realized that the incorporation of these technologies in human resources management and subsequently all other types of resources can lead to a clear competitive advantage even if the management and maintenance of their additional costs are not negligible. From this point of view we believe that the RATB has realized early on the importance of information and communication technologies within the organization. Through this paper we propose to do an analysis of key technologies intranets and extranets, used now by the RATB, and present some of the pathways of action that, in our view, would lead to a more efficient internal and external communication process.
