Summary/Abstract: The fiscal level is one of the most important features determining stability of public finance. In this article, the level of fiscal indicator and the gap between tax revenue and redistribution in Poland, in relations to budget policy in years 2016–2017 and government strategy, was studied. Results of analysis suggest the necessity of establishing a long-term priority of enlargement of tax revenue not by increasing taxes but by optimization of economic policy.
