Summary/Abstract: The Koszalin-Kolobrzeg (Kołobrzeg) Diocese has been established in 1972. It’s bishop, Ignacy Jeż, established the sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows in Skrzatusz to enhance the spiritual growth of the diocese. For the sanctuary in Skrzatusz a new history begun, since it was no more one of many holy places in the Gorzów diocese, but the main sanctuary of the new Church administration unit. This move required also a change in the personel. Fr Stefan Kieliński SDB was the first custodian of the sanctuary, holding at the same time the office of the parish priest. This article presents the pastoral activity of the Custodian and recalls the basic biographical information about the Salesian.
