Summary/Abstract: One of the institutions competent in the matters of internal security is Forest Guard which is engaged in the fight against crime and delinquency concerning the disturbances of the forest and nature conservation and which also performs other tasks for the protection of property. In carrying out these tasks, it uses a number of rights, including the right of direct coercion, yet the rules governing these issues are not sufficiently detailed and exhaustive in this respect. Therefore, this article attempts to specify the statutory duties of Forest Guard and assign specific powers of this formation to them.
