Summary/Abstract: After a brief historical introduction, this paper analyzes the rhetorical and persuasive elements of the patriotism of State in the sphere of political regimes of force that ruled some European Nations during the first third of 20th century. The paper ends with the analysis of the patriotism of State as persuasive element of propaganda in the United States after the Second World War.
