Summary/Abstract: In the present university textbook, the author strongly conveys the whole flowreflections and original thoughts on the need to revive the sleeping genre, and the reasons for this are sufficiently highlighted throughout the work, while pointing to the possibilities of using loudness in musical education at virtually all levels of primary and secondary education. The university textbook brings its own author's contribution in combination with the latest knowledge of music pedagogy, psychology and music therapy, thus going beyond the narrow framework of music education towards healing pedagogy, also for art therapy or multicultural education. It provides incentives to think, suited and precisely selectedsong material for those music teachers who seek to deepen the knowledge and aesthetic experience of their pupils through singing activities as well as for folklorists. It represents a valuable enrichment of the specialist literature on traditional music, as well as an important study material, original and new in our thinking environment.
