Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to investigating linguistic, narrative and compositional peculiarities of anthropomorphic images of Russian and Bashkir fairy-tales. The paper confirms the hypothesis of V.Ya. Propp functional model which suggests that the structure, lexis and typology of characters in the fairy-tale involves a host of traditional features characteristic of various works. These theme remains topical because both Russian and Bashkir fairy tales reflect national and linguistic worldviews of the mentioned peoples.
