Summary/Abstract: Cybersex is a social interaction between at least two people who exchange real time electronical messages in order to achieve sexual arousal and satisfaction. It is a phenomenon known since the eighties of the last century. Cybersex addiction is not enumerated in ICD- 10. A review of accessible articles on cybersex was done. Results: 1. People engaging in cybersex particularly often are women, homosexuals and lonely people. 2. Risk factors of cybersex addiction are: being hypersexual, elevated testosterone level, prior sex or substance addiction, being a victiim of sexual abuse in the past. 3. There is no stated form of cybersex addiction treatment. CBT rules seem to apply best to this case.
