Summary/Abstract: Introduction: Sexological care is one of integral rights of every human being and the access to a medical care in this domain should be easy and unimpeded. However, the issue of patient’s sexual problems during his stay in hospital, not infrequently because of other medical conditions, is often passed over or ignored by a medical staff. The aim of this study is to find out if the subject is undertaken by the staff during psychiatric treatment of patients. Material and methods: The research group consisted of 114 medical staff members. They answered to the author guestionaire. Results and conclusions: It turns out that the sexual health of psychiatric patients is a subject of medical staff`s interest. Different kinds of patient’s sexual activity are observed during the hospitalization, it’s not uncommonly a bother, and the staff not always feels sufficiently competent to take professional interventions in this sphere.
