Summary/Abstract: The analysis of lexico-semantic group of names of linear measures, weight, fur and money in XII century documents of yasachny gathering in the territory of Yakutia is carried out. It is established that into this group enter both words actual for modern Russian, and archaic lexemes. The modern metric system considerably differed from the traditional system of measures used in the XVII century.
