Summary/Abstract: The article seeks to extrapolate the theoretical premises and metalanguage of synergy into epistemological space of literary translation theory. The analysis of empirical data is carried out with the reference to two synergy principles of Being (homeostatic character, hierarchical character) and five synergy principles of formation (non-linear character, non-insularity, instability, emergent character, observability). To illustrate the findings the works of the classical Russian author, M. Bulgakov, and their English and German version have been chosen.
