Summary/Abstract: The present paper The English-Slovak glossary of tax income terms for taxpayers in the UK points to differences between the English and the Slovak terminology of tax income terms. The glossary list contains English terms of tax income and their translation into Slovak language. In addition the text focuses on translation procedures used in the translation of specialized terminology, namely transpozition, reduction, expansion and description.
