PROFESSOR SINTCHOOK A. N. AS A DOCTOR, SCIENTIST, PERSONALITY (DEDICATION TO THE 90-TH ANNIVESARY)

Summary/Abstract: The purpose and objectives of the study: To analyze the stages of life path and the scientific, pedagogical, and creative achievements of Professor Sinchuk O.M., his contribution to the history of the Higher State Educational Institution "Bukovinian State Medical University". Methods of research. In the presented article are used such methods as overview, description and historical analysis. Scientific novelty of research. The article describes the stages of life path and the scientific, pedagogical, and creative achievements of Professor Sintchook O.M., his contribution to the history of the Higher State Educational Institution of Ukraine "Bukovinian State Medical University". Professor Sintchook A.N. during 38 years worked at the Chernivtsi State Medical Institute, during 10 years (1982-1992) he headed the staff of the hospital therapy department. He has prepared two candidates of medical sciences, has published 104 scientific and methodological works. The professor devoted his practical work in Ukraine and Zambia to training students and postgraduate training of doctors, teaching and methodical work, medical and advisory activity as a highly qualified physician – internist, cardiologist and rheumatologist. Conclusions. In the past few years, the Professor lived with his son's family in Kyiv. Alexander Nikolayevich Sinchuk died on October 24, 2006. Buried at the Central Cemetery in Kiev. On October 5-6, 2017, a scientific-practical conference with international participation "The Features of the Comorbidity of Diseases and their Pharmacotherapy in the Clinic of Internal Medicine" was held on the basis of the Higher State Educational Institution of Ukraine "BSMU", a sectional session "Modern Approaches to the Treatment and Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases Taking into Account comorbid states "of which we devoted to the 90th anniversary of the birth of prof. Sinchuk O.M. Memory of Professor Sinchuk O.M. will always be in our hearts.
