Summary/Abstract: Human beings establish relationships with their milieu in different ways and on different levels. In this paper, the relationship between recognizing and knowing will be discussed from the perspective of the philosophy social sciences. In this context, by considering relevant Koranic verses; the question that if we are in the exigency of absolute empathy when we are in need of knowing somebody and when this kind of empathy is not possible, if it is proper to claim to have knowing about her/him, will be analyzed.
