Summary/Abstract: As a result of the activity carried on by the Constitutional Court, several decisions were published in June 2018 (pleas and objections of unconstitutionality granted), with reference to: art. 127 (“Facultative jurisdiction”) paragraphs (1)-(2) of the Code of civil procedure, art. 252^3 (“Capitalization of immovable seized during the trial”) of the Criminal Procedure Code, art. 56 para. (1) letter c) sentence I of the Labour Code, and also in relation to the provisions of Law for amending and supplementing Law no. 334/2006 on the financing of political parties’ activity and electoral campaigns, of art. 37 para. (3) of the Law of national education no. 1/2011, the provisions of Law for the approval of the G.E.O. no. 55/2016 on the reorganization of the National Company of Motorway and National Roads of Romania, art. 1 letter e) sentence I of the Parliament Decision no. 20/2018 regarding the establishment of the Joint Special Committee of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate for the preparation of the Administrative Code, the provisions of Law on the approval of the G.E.O. no. 85/2016 for amending and supplementing G.E.O. no. 23/2008 on fisheries and aquaculture, certain provisions of the Law for amending and supplementing Law no. 254/2013 on the execution of punishments and custodial measures ordered by the court during the criminal trial, the provisions of the Romanian Parliament Decision no. 21/2018 on the appointment of a member of the Ruling Council of the National Council for Combating Discrimination, sole art. points 3 and 5 of the Law on the approval of the G.E.O. no. 33/2017 for amending and supplementing art. 11 of the G.E.O. no. 22/2009 regarding the establishment of ANARC, art. 51 para. (3) of Law no. 317/2004 on regarding the Superior Council of Magistracy, art. 30 para. (2) and (3) and art. 280 para. (2) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding the health reform, as well as the provisions of Law for amending and supplementing certain health regulations. Moreover, another decision was published regarding an objection of unconstitutionality related to the phrase “all social relations” in the content of the provisions of the Law for amending and supplementing Law no. 535/2004 on the prevention and fighting against terrorism.
