Summary/Abstract: Due to technological developments, there are also great changes in the habits of human life. One of the most frequently observed habits of change in recent times is the frequent use of communication tools based on technology. Mass communication programs such as whatsapp, facebook, instagram, twitter that are used with internet connections in mobile phones, computers, tablets and other technology-intensive devices have enabled the spread of applications defined as social media usage today. In this research, a questionnaire study was conducted in order to measure the habits of Uludag University Social Sciences Vocational School students about the use of technology. In the study, areas and duration of technology usage of students in education and social life was investigated. As a result of the research, it was determined that the students use the tools and programs that constitute today's technology intensively and that the time gained through the advantages provided by the use of technology is also spent on social media.
