Summary/Abstract: Economic development is a concept related to the living conditions of a country and the welfare levels of individuals living in the country. In the economic development process, developing countries are often face with serious problems of investment due to the low savings rate. For such reasons, foreign direct investment is important for developing countries. In this study, the relationship between direct foreign investment and economic development in the OECD member countries in 2000-2016 was examined using the Panel Data Analysis method. As a result of the study, a positive relation between foreign direct investment and economic development has been determined.
