Summary/Abstract: The author pays attention to the so-called “Eurasian initiative”, which is based on the international trade integration. In this regard he stands out a structure, which is called the Eurasian Economic Community. The Eurasian Economic Community is defined as an international economic organization, which was established to implement the process of the formation of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space, as well as other goals and objectives through the integration of the member states, primarily in the economic and humanitarian spheres. In addition to the basic features of the Community, the author analyzes the organizational aspects of functioning of the Community institutions, primarily in the areas of trade cooperation and the level of harmonization and unification of the legal norms of the Member States. The author concludes that in the further process of integration establishment of the Eurasian Monetary Union can be expected, which would be only a step away from the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union, and finally the Eurasian Union, as an unique integration.
