Summary/Abstract: This article is structured in two parts, from which, first one refers to the international principles that guard child rights, and the second one, it refers to legal content of child rights, acording to Law no. 272/2004, republished and modified by the new Civil Code. There are noticiable the efforts of the Romanian legislator to adopt a national law, according to the international context.
