Summary/Abstract: Today religion is an actual issue in Turkey. However there are chronic problems in religious issues since Muslims have serious problems in understanding and practising religion. One observes that there is no a serious reference to religious and moral doctrines to solve these problems. This study examines some mulltifaceted solutions for these sop- histicated and heavy problems. This article discusses firstly the relationship between religion and morality in theoretical perspectives. Then it examines some cases in which morality fell behind the İslamic jurisprudential regulations. The study elaborates and evaluates some cases of the traditional jurisprudential thoughts and practices after examining the reality in which morality fell behind the law in religious knowledge and perceptions.
