Summary/Abstract: The emergence of the concept of human rights was the result of the evolution of humanist ideas and their increasingly intense reception. Man as a social being, relates to others, to society as a whole, this is what ensures its existence and development. Each has its status that summarizes all the rights and obligations that society allows or requires from each and every one. The need to create and maintain balance in society, the close connection of individual interests - society led to the legal regulation of human rights. Such institutions as the Constitutional Court, Administrative Disputes and Ombudsman have emerged, through which human activity in society is defended. Following this activity, Romania joins other democratic states in the fight for freedom and harmony between peers.
