Summary/Abstract: During the 20th century, technology has deeply effected lives and lifestyles of individuals , as well as the most dominant practices of business. These development have transformed the Albanian economy from an agricultural country into an industrial one. Innovation in technologies of information and communication have introduced new practices of business and marketing, thus providing the companies with new opportunities for interaction with their clients. Internet, I particular, has had a great impact on business practices, to be matched and surpassed only by the used of mobile phones. The latter technique has so far been a huge success, partly because of the mobile phones’ vast use and popularity in Albania. However, it is argued in this article, that for the mobile phones to play a positive effect on business, it has to be integrated with other alternative techniques of communications.
