Artists about Marina Tsvetaeva's drawings at the Russian State Library: professional - scholarly, skilful - imperfect

Summary/Abstract: In the department of manuscripts of the RSL, 8 graphic drawings under the name of Marina Tsvetaeva have been kept since 1950. There are no publications by professional Tsvetaeva experts and employees of state museums in Russia about these drawings. Interest in them is shown only in the US and the Czech Republic. The Washington Museum of Russian Poetry and Music published the drawings in America and interviewed a large group of artists. The main feature of these reviews is the wide spectrum and inconsistency of opinions, which is characteristic for the analysis of any art work of great talent. The work is devoted to the memory of Prof. PhDr. Danuše Kšicová, DrSc.
