Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article was to identify development of decision-making potential during the period 15 – 55 years, and to look for the effect of gender factor in this respect. A Bulgarian adaptation of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), form G, was administered to 693 participants aged 15 to 55 (358 males and 335 females), distributed into 5 age categories. Nonlinear developmental trajectory of the decision – making capacity was outlined. Results, regarding the poles of Judging, showed descend of the Feeling style (F), which means respectively that the inclination towards Thinking decision-making style (T) is ascending with age. According to results, regarding the combinations of psychological functions by pairs, preferences to Conceptual (NF) and Analytical (NT) style descend and affinity to Directive style (ST) ascends with age. A small number of gender differences were registered.
