Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the problems of cognition and comprehension, depending on the attitudes, cultural, social and scientific expertise as well as on the native speaker competence of the language system. The greater need for data based on psychology, neurophysiology and neuro-linguistics for the exploration of the mechanisms of cognition and comprehension has been substantiated.
