Summary/Abstract: The overview of the contemporary data acquisition methods for Digital Terrain Models (DTM), as well as the accuracy of data provided by these methods, are given in this article. The procedure of the accuracy estimation for DTM, which is produced by digitising of topographic maps and test points, obtained by GPS technology and aerophotogrammetric terrain surveying, is presented.
