MORPHOLOGY OF DOSITEJ’S FABLES

Summary/Abstract: This essay is trying to describe a specific Dositej’s fable constituted of the fable and a widened moral teaching. The essay is based on some important studies and conclusions about Dositej and his literary work. The intention of the essay is point out on the forms and elements that constitute morphology of this unique literary fact in the Serbian literary tradition. We want to show the crossing of outer influences with personal Dositej’s creative tendencies in his fables. This analysis is one of the possible modern ways to read Dositej’s fables.
