Summary/Abstract: In the work „History and ideology in the novel Chronicle of the Eternity“, Sophia Kalezic-Durickovic analyzes the motives that accompanity the realization of this writer since his first novel named The Cradle. His work has autobiographical character and contains the motives of ideological division in Montenegro after Warld War II. The story of most of his books takes places in the vilage named Pelinovo. It becomes a synonim for suffering, different kinds of social pressures and fratricide. The main protagonist of the novel, Simon Rujanic, has painful memories of his father Jacob, from the time when God and church, history and religion were humilated. Mosaic structure and tragic intonation, his novels transmit a warning to readers, the tragic family stories caused by social events not repeated in any time.
