Summary/Abstract: The article presents an abridged history of the Gorolski Festival, an important element of the folk culture of Cieszyn Silesia. The author discusses exhibitions accompanying the festival and presents individuals which were connected with the history of the festival for generations. Subsequent sections include photographs of this important Polish event which takes place each year in Zaolzie.
