Summary/Abstract: Despite the qualitative differences between nature and art as dialectical processes that have emerged, they have a profound unity in themselves. The pluralistic nature of contemporary art and developing technology strengthening the link between the art and mass culture have differentiated artists’ methods of creating and communicating. The artists today have chosen the nature as a metaphor to explain the concepts such as identity, alienation, life, death, ecology, birth, extinction, multiculturalism rather than viewing it as a part of an esthetic research. The metaphors created by naturel way in contemporary art practices changed end intensified the expression while presenting new means of explanation outside traditional artistic understanding.
