Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to trace the achievement of gynocriticism in Montenegrin anglophone studies, as well as to present the way the studies of English language and literatures written in English include gender studies as their inherent part. Several scholars whose work is presented in this paper have largely contributed to the introduction and reception of the English and American literary tradition in Montenegro.
