Contemporary Relations in Arts

Summary/Abstract: My essay is about the exploration the topic of contemporaneity. I try to formulate an adequate definition for the concept of contemporaneity, and to explain it, expand it, and exemplify it afterwards. I will investigate the topic partially from the point of view of art history and art theory, mentioning as examples arts that reflect the concept of contemporaneity. All of this are placed in the frame of the time: I will look at the problematics of time from the perspectives of physics and philosophy. I am not trying to achieve an overall view, I am presenting only the segment of the time theories which have as main topic the segment of time named the present, the point, where we can be on the same frequency with the work of art, where we can become contemporaneous with them either for each other, or for ourselves.
