Professor Mosko Moskov About the Language Culture

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to Prof. M. Moskov’s studies which reflect his interest in language culture issues. The studies contain implicit directions related to the linguist’s privilege and obligations in explaining and exploring linguistic features. Based on his philological education and extensive knowledge in the field of general linguistics, the author directs his attention to the problems of language culture and seeks to formulate the theoretical basis for its formation. The place of lexical borrowings and the attitude towards them are presented in their relation to the formation of the modern Bulgarian literary language.
