Summary/Abstract: Material culture items have great importance in the development of societies. In this context, plant weaving in traditional weaving can be considered as the activities oriented to the production arising from the needs of the community in the area of raw materials. Mat weavings are manufactured in the regions depending on the upbringing of herbal raw materials at stagnant swampy water resources. In recent years, a shortage of labor in different fields of technology in the art of weaving wire mesh is isolated from a source of livelihood. Woven wire mesh made to the emergence of the shortage of alternative products and marketing has been a factor in the disappearance of this craft.In this study, it is aimed to access to the growing conditions of swamp raw materials, evaluation forms, and within this scope, data related to mat weaving in the border of Konya province, Beyşehir district, the third largest lake in Turkey. Furthermore, the weave of the mesh is also generated for raw material, technical, design and production with information about the use of modes will be given.
