Summary/Abstract: Kefeli Han has been located in Yenice Street, Kaledere District, Unye county of Ordu. The inn with an inscription on 1288 H./1871 M. on the entrance gate, is the only remaining example in the area as an urban inn. Unye, Ottoman Period XIX. yy. it was an important port city, for the reason there were many inns and shops built in the city. These commercial structures located in Ünye and it not preserved in the historical process have been left in the local resources and in the records of Şer'iye only their names and numbers. It was seen that these statistical information is alive especially in the trade of inn and shop numbers at a level that is not negligible for a port city. However, the only example of city inns today in the county is the Keheli Han's only masonry body walls. The inn, designed in accordance with the location of the land in which it is located, has been evaluated in two parts. The first section is placed in an "L" shape, the second section in a rectangular form, especially on the street where the han will form an angle on the northwest facade. XIX. yy. the inn, which is understood to have the general characteristics of inner city inns, continues to have local traditions, especially in terms of used materials and details. It does not have a inn decoration program in line with its function characteristics. In the Black Sea Region, as a representative of the Late Ottoman Period of inner city inns, the examples in the region and their structure between group has been evaluated to emphasize the location and importance of Kefeli Han.
