Summary/Abstract: The article presents the names of shopping centers in Bulgaria and their general classification. It refers to the history of the shopping centers in Bulgaria and their counterparts from historic times. It also shows the idea behind the name of one of the major shopping centres in Europe, the Shopping, Arts and Business Center „Stary Browar“ in Poznan.
