Summary/Abstract: Creating a regional security bloc and maintain the integrity of the boundaries became an important policy of the Republic of Turkey during the time of Ataturk. For this purpose, Turkey made treaties to solve problems and improved relations with her neighbors. Uncertainty of the borders and activities of the tribes were the most important issues in relations with Iran. In this article, developments in two states’ relations and the Sadabad Pact, which is also called as the Eastern Pact, were studied.
