Summary/Abstract: This research aims at determining relationship between academic success of students admitted to music teacher undergraduate program with special talent test and their success levels in talent test. Research was conducted with a study group consisting of 182 people with correlational researches. Scores of music teacher candidates forming study group taken in special talent test were analyzed in two axes as basic scores and evaluated scores. The first finding obtained from the study is that there is any relationship or there is very low level relationship between basic scores music teacher candidates constituting study group obtained from special talent test and undergraduate program final GAP (General Access Point). However a positive and middle level relationship was observed between YP-Placement Scores of students in study group and undergraduate program final GAP scores. Another finding obtained from the study is that when “Class level” variable is evaluated in terms of BTS there is significant difference in favor of freshman students, when it is examined in terms of ES significant difference is in favor of junior students between special skills scores of students in study group and undergraduate program academic scores.
