Summary/Abstract: Starting from an important proof of the 19th century concerning the history of the Romanian traditional dance and using as contribution some otherhistoriography information, contextual morph-syntactic analyses applied to theRomanian Transylvanian dances, we have tried in the following article to presentsome arguments concerning the hypothesis of a direct relation between the danceRomana (dance from the repertory of the nowadays Transylvanian Calus men)and the dance Romanul, one of the dances presented in the text attributed to StefanEmilian.
