Summary/Abstract: In this research, it is aimed to designate the relationship between musical performance anxiety and family expectation of fine arts high school students who has performed actively on stage. The study group is included of 180 students, who receive Professional education in Düzce, Bolu and Kırıkkale. “Music Performance Anxiety Scale” to designate the family expectations are used in the research. According to the results, there is not any significant relationship between the musical performance anxiety and family expectations of high school students, though the inclination of the results is towards the positive significance. There is also any significant relationship between musical performance anxiety and family expectation, and the type of high school they have graduated from. Although there is not a significant relationship between performance anxiety and the family expectations, and the gender, the families of girls are nearly research the statistical significance. There is a significant relationship between the grade levels and family expectations of the high school students. The results also revealed that the performance anxiety of the 9th grade students, whose grade level is lower, is more intense than the other grades participated in the study group.
