Summary/Abstract: This paper engages with teaching gender, caste, and sexuality in the context of Spanish Higher Education. I will examine my experience of teaching Githa Hariharan’s “The Remains of the Feast,” Arundhati Roy’s The God of Small Things and Shobha Dé’s Strange Obsession to conclude by reflecting on the value of teaching these issues and texts from a feminist perspective.
