Summary/Abstract: András Hatházi’s essay evokes one of the paradoxical moments of an actor’s work: the moment when the actor’s self appears as a given non-self and this is one in a numerous succession of such occurrences. The separation of the self from the given non-self is the condition for the creation of the third, a basic problem of acting.
