Summary/Abstract: Samuel Huntington has awakened interest worldwide with the thesis of "The Clash of Civilizations". There are many positive and negative comments on the thesis. Huntington is based on civilizations, not economics or ideologies, as a source of new struggle in the changing world in his thesis. Huntington has seen the clash of civilizations as an element to dominate international politics. On the other hand, the writer claims that the identity of civilization will become increasingly important and that the world will be shaped by the interaction between seven major or eight civilizations. It is understood that the author's discourse reveals a western-centered worldview. Huntington who expressed the world of Islam as a potential threat to the West has made remarkable evaluations for many countries, including Turkey. In the study, the theses in the Clash of Civilizations propesed by Huntington will be evaluated and ıt will try to make an analysis from the Islamic world and Turkey axis.
