Summary/Abstract: Whatever the understanding, the feeling, the technical, this is a natural interpretation of the painting, which is often in contemporary art, no matter what age or property it is. The painter has been trying to revive the outer world of every object or to shape and transmit the reaction that he has just awakened in the feeling of the outer world. In this expression, one of the military painters who depicts the maritime theme in Turkish painting art in a realistic style with romantic and historical document quality is Diyarbakırlı Tahsin Siret Bey. The artist has made important contributions to his research on Turkish art history with his works that he composes in the sea especially during the Dardanelles War. In this context, the detailed analysis of the artistic criticism of this art “Canakkale Naval War”, which is regarded as worthy to be examined and analyzed by the artist, has been revealed.
