Summary/Abstract: The author deals with the problem of different opinions regarding the nature of history. From his understanding of the nature history, and Brian Fay`s typology, he distinguishes two poles: positions of constructivism and reconstructivism. In dealing with the problem of the nature of history, he considers five constitutive factors that where formulated by Jörn Rüsen.
