Summary/Abstract: Cepken is a kind of short jacket worn by both women and men from past to present and has an important place in Turkish clothing culture. Jeogori, one of Korean traditional clothes is one of the upper part of Hanbok traditional clothing and worn by both women and men as a short top jacket. Jeogori is similiar to traditional women’s cepkens at the Giresun Museum in terms of model-cutting technique. This study aims to blend these cepkens with jeogori worn in Korea and to combine the clothing culture of two different countries by examining the features of traditional women cepkens in Giresun Museum. For this purpose, traditional women’s cepkens at Giresun Museum have been examined in terms of fabric, color, model - cutting technique and ornamentation technique and photographs of these cepkens have been presented visually. A literature search on Jeogori has also been made and general information about Jeogori has been given. Clothes designs have been made by blending features of Jeogori with the features of traditional women’s cepkens at the Giresun Museum. Cloth designs are drawn on technical drawing and painted with watercolor and gouache painting technique and sewn as a model sample. At the end of the study; it has been made some proposals that national cultures and values can be introduced to international platforms by combining features of clothes of different countries and communication and cross cultural interection can be easily established.
