NEWS PRODUCTION PROCESS IN THE CONTEXT OF NEOLIBERAL POLICIES AND GLOBALIZATION

Summary/Abstract: Media, which undergoes great changes in the process of neoliberal policies and globalization, depends upon politics due to economic interests. Media deviated from its social responsibility because of its integration into articulated power. Media is being ruled by certain groups as a result of globalization and these groups have formed their own publishing policy. This study analyzes how the neoliberal policies and globalization shapes media, how the structure of media affects the news production process, and how differences are formed in the news.
