The implementation of European directives in the field of copyright: difficulties and perspectives

Summary/Abstract: The Romanian Law on Copyright and Related Rights has 14 amendments, including the exceptions of unconstitutionality adopted. The most important changes occurred with the status of Romania as an associate member and later a member of the European Union, with the transposition, between 2005 and 2015, of 9 directives. The article analyzes how was implemented and the effects of the Collective Management Directive.
