Summary/Abstract: The dialogue of the Italian philosopher Antonio Rosmini with the ancient world and in particular with Roman legal experience, clarifies the validity of Roman law, defined as "the pedagogue of legal thought." He emphasizes the honesty and justice with which the roman jurists exercise the ars iuris and draws attention to the inextricable link between morality and law, based on the metaphysical advantage of the personality, which he defines as a "valid right".
